A lenticular surface changes the picture depending on the viewing angle, so the badge flips between images. The pin is a lively addition to a collection of Lenin and propaganda badges.

Item Details

Type: Lenticular (flip) pin badge

Slogan: "Lenin Is Always Alive"

Occasion: 100 Years Jubilee

Subject: Lenin

Country of Manufacture: USSR

Photos: 6 pictures included, showing the flip effect

Condition

Used. The flip effect makes lenticular pins a favorite among collectors who like novelty in Soviet badge design. Lenticular badges use a ridged plastic layer to show different pictures depending on the angle, which is why six photos were included. This kind of novelty finish was a fun variation on the standard enamel pin. For a collector, it is a good contrast piece beside traditional metal badges, and it shows that Soviet propaganda objects also used playful technology.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0808/0500/3413/files/lenin-lenticular-flip-pin-always-alive-100-years-1.jpg?v=1791722537
