No specific flaws were noted in the source information, so please review all pictures for the exact condition of the enamel, the metal and the pin back before buying.

About This Piece

The cruiser Aurora, now a museum ship in Saint Petersburg, became a symbol of the 1917 revolution in Soviet culture, and her image appears on countless badges, stamps and posters. Anniversary years like 1987 produced whole series of such pins. A dated Aurora badge like this is a neat way to collect Soviet commemorative history in a very small format.

The dates 1917-1987 in the title make this badge a straightforward reference piece. No size, material or maker details were supplied, so the photographs should be used to check the finish and the back of the pin. It sits naturally beside other Aurora badges, including the 50th anniversary version in the shop, for a small themed display of revolutionary jubilee pins.

Handled gently, it will display well on a collector's board or in a small frame.

Shipping

Carefully packed and shipped worldwide from Ukraine with a tracking number.
