Since 1917 plus fifty years leads to 1967, this pin belongs to a major jubilee year, and it fits easily into a small display of Soviet pins. The hammer and sickle on the badge was the best-known symbol of the USSR, so the design is immediately understood by anyone interested in Soviet history. The pin is small and light, which makes it simple to keep with other badges in a case, and the anniversary theme gives it a clear place in a themed collection. Please note that the description text gives only the subject and the material, so the photographs are the best source for the size and the exact shape of the pin.
