Tested and fully working: the bulb lights up and the lens focuses smoothly. The cosmetic condition is clean and well preserved. The filmstrips are vintage, so minor signs of age or wear are to be expected. The projector runs on 220V; buyers in the US and Canada would need a step-up converter from 110V.

About This Piece

Filmstrip projectors were a staple of Soviet childhood, used to show illustrated stories on the wall at home. The included titles, such as The Tale of the Fisherman and the Fish and The Stolen Sun, are well-known fairytales and stories, so the set works as a working display of Soviet children's culture.

What's Included

Ekran filmstrip projector with 220V power cord attached

15 vintage Soviet filmstrips in original plastic canisters

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0808/0500/3413/files/soviet-filmstrip-projector-ekran-15-filmstrips-1.jpg?v=1791722523
