The glass is clear and the internal elements are well preserved. The lamp is fully functional and glows brightly and consistently, as shown in the photos. Since it is rated for 220 V, buyers in 110 V regions need a step-up transformer to get the full glow. The date range is approximate, as the lamp is described only as made around 1967 to 1972.

About This Piece

Neon and glow lamps with shaped electrodes were used as indicators and decorative lights, and their look is close to that of early Nixie-tube electronics. This one was made for the anniversary of 1917, and the image of a factory fits the industrial themes of the time. It is a good piece for collectors of vintage electronics, Soviet anniversary items, or anyone who wants an industrial-style accent light.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0808/0500/3413/files/s-l1600_aa843622-b51d-41c6-8d05-17fec9455fc2.jpg?v=1791481914
https://sovietvintagestore.com/products/soviet-neon-glow-lamp-50-years-ussr-industrial-plant-design-e27
