The faux-amber plastic imitates classic vintage materials such as carbolite and bakelite, set off by a metal mechanism. It is an eye-catching addition to a tobacciana collection, a Soviet-era memorabilia display or a mid-century modern desk.

Item Details

Type: Table / desk lighter

Country of Manufacture: USSR (Soviet Union)

Era: Circa 1960s–1970s

Body: Faux-amber marbled plastic with a carbolite / bakelite look

Colors: Deep red and amber-yellow swirls, glossy finish

Mechanism: Metal

Condition

Used, in good vintage condition with honest signs of age and use. The body keeps a glossy finish with vibrant colors, and no major cracks are visible on the casing. The metal parts show a natural patina. Soviet examples with colorful marbled plastic are popular with collectors of tobacciana and Soviet desk accessories. Whether displayed next to a Soviet desk set or on a mid-century shelf, this Soviet table lighter brings a warm splash of color.

Shipping

Carefully packed and shipped worldwide from Ukraine with a tracking number.
