About This Piece

Portable tape recorders such as the Karpaty were widely used in Soviet homes for listening to music and recording, and the 5-pin DIN connections were typical of Soviet audio equipment. The unit can run from the mains, an external DC supply or batteries, which makes it flexible for display and use. It will suit collectors of Soviet audio and fans of retro boomboxes.
