This is a mixed category of Soviet-era items and vintage collectibles. Recent listings include Palekh and Mstera lacquer boxes from the 1950s, a Tula electric sewing machine from 1959, a VN-3 table fan, an SS-1 industrial siren, Elektronika portable TVs, a UPA-510 photo enlarger, a LI-441 vidicon tube, a wooden slide rule, a Volga carburetor and a school uniform dress with a white apron in NOS condition.

Where to look next

For smaller sorted groups, open Vintage Collectibles and Clothing & Accessories. There are also Ukrainian folk art pieces, such as a painted wooden Bulawa mace, and Kremlin souvenirs.

How I describe condition

The mix means condition varies, so I use plain labels: NOS (new old stock), tested and working, as-is, and for parts. Older electrical items are 220V and need a converter in the US. For technical items I note if a part is missing, if I tested it and what is wrong. Some items are modern or non-Soviet, and these are named accordingly. Check the sold archive to see what kinds of finds have sold before.

New arrivals appear here first and are later sorted into the category where they fit best, so check back from time to time.

Photos cover labels, plates and serial numbers, and I say plainly when something is incomplete or has been repaired.

Ask a question before buying if you need extra measurements.

Frequently asked questions

Do the electrical items work in the US?

Soviet mains items are built for 220V, so you need a converter for US outlets. Each listing says whether I tested the item.

What does NOS mean?

NOS means new old stock, an unused item from the original era, sometimes still in its box. I say if a box or manual is included.

How long does shipping to the US take?

Shipping to the US usually takes 2-4 weeks, and shipping is free; any customs duties or import fees are paid by the buyer.
