From the seller's notes
This Soviet vidicon tube is a model LI-441 television camera tube, new old stock and never used. Vidicons like this were made in the USSR for specialized television equipment and studio cameras, and this one carries the logo of the Nalchik Katod Plant, the Soviet Quality Mark and an OTK quality control stamp.
Item Details
- Type: Vidicon television camera tube

Condition
New old stock from vintage surplus storage, never used. The tube is untested because the specialized equipment to test it is not available, so its function cannot be verified and it is sold as-is for collection, display or project restoration. Cosmetically it is in pristine condition: the glass envelope is clear with no cracks, chips or deep scratches, the internal elements look aligned, and the multi-pin base is intact.
About This Piece
Before solid-state image sensors, vidicon tubes converted the picture in a television camera into an electrical signal. Unused Soviet examples with clear factory markings are interesting to collectors of vintage electronics, restorers of old camera equipment and anyone who likes unusual technical objects for display.
