About This Piece
The Arsenal Factory is a well-known industrial site in Kyiv, and Soviet-era commemorative items connected it to the revolutionary events of 1917 and the years right after. Local factory themes make a badge like this one more specific than a general anniversary pin. It is sold, and similar Soviet badges can be found in our collection. Kyiv is a city with a long industrial history, so pins from its factories are of interest both to collectors of Soviet items and to those who collect Ukrainian history. Because only the factory name and the year were given, the photos are the best source for the exact lettering and any markings on the reverse of the pin.
