About This Piece

Soviet home projectors like the Rus let families screen small-format 8mm films at home, and the dual-gauge gate allowed both older Standard 8 reels and Super 8 film to be shown. The industrial design, with its gray metal case and bright control buttons, appeals to collectors of Soviet technology and vintage photography equipment, and the projector also makes a distinctive restoration project.
