From the seller's notes
This vintage Soviet ceramic trophy cup celebrates football (soccer) with a colorful decal of a player in mid-kick, set within an oval medallion. The tall, elongated cup is made of glazed ceramic (porcelain / faience) and comes with a matching ornate lid topped by a decorative finial. Its body and base are finished in a vibrant marbled, spatter-style glaze in green, red and blue, accented with gold-tone trim.

About This Piece
Football has long been one of the most popular sports in the former Soviet Union, and a lidded ceramic cup with a player decal is a decorative way to celebrate the game. With its striking marbled glaze and classic player decal, this piece is a great addition for collectors of vintage sports memorabilia, soccer history and Soviet decorative ceramics, and an eye-catching accent for a den, office or trophy shelf.
