About This Piece
Banners like this were presented to workplaces that did well in the Socialist Competition, and they were displayed in plant halls and carried at parades. The 70th anniversary of the October Revolution in 1987 was one of the last big jubilees of the Soviet era. The Lenin portrait on one side and the State Emblem on the other make it a strong wall piece for collectors of Cold War memorabilia, militaria or industrial decor.
