About This Piece
Carbolite is the name used for the Soviet version of Bakelite, a hard early plastic known for its weight and durability. Sets like this one were made by state manufacturers, and the original markings on the case help show its era. It is a fine item for collectors of vintage games, Soviet memorabilia and mid-century design. The set is compact and portable, so it can be played as intended or displayed with other vintage games in its original case.
