About This Piece
The Felix family of arithmometers was produced in the USSR in very large numbers and could be found in almost every Soviet office, bank and design bureau. Based on the pin-wheel principle of W. T. Odhner, the machine adds, subtracts, multiplies and divides with a turn of the crank. It is heavy, all-metal and built to last.
Today this Soviet mechanical calculator appeals to collectors of vintage office equipment and Soviet engineering, and it makes a striking industrial or steampunk decor piece for a home office or studio.
