About This Piece
Metal farm toys like this one are typical of mid-century Soviet toy production, when tractors and other machines were popular themes for children. The size and weathered finish make it a good choice for collectors of Soviet toys and vintage tin toys, and it also works as an industrial-style decor piece for a home or office. Because it was made as a toy, the wear it shows is part of its history, and its size gives it real presence on a shelf.
