This vintage Sanyo transistor radio is the RP 1270, a portable AM pocket radio in a bright red finish from the late 1970s or early 1980s. It has been tested and works, picking up stations clearly, and it shows the compact, minimalist design that made Japanese pocket radios so popular.

Condition
Tested and fully working: the radio receives stations clearly, and the tuning and volume wheels rotate smoothly. The battery compartment is very clean with no signs of corrosion, and the original internal components, including the speaker and transformers, are intact. Cosmetically it is in good vintage condition: the red plastic case is bright with only minor shelf wear, and the silver-tone faceplate is well preserved with clear lettering. How to return an item

- The item must be returned in the same condition you received it, with all parts, accessories and original packaging that came with it.
- Return shipping is paid by the buyer. Please use a tracked shipping service and pack the item carefully — vintage pieces are fragile, and I can't refund items damaged on the way back.
