About this piece
Vintage Soviet chess set in wood, 1970s-80s: complete 32 pieces with felt bases and a folding board marked for backgammon inside. Ships from Ukraine.
From the seller's notes
This vintage Soviet chess set was made in the USSR in the 1970s–1980s and includes all 32 original wooden pieces with a double-sided folding board. The outside of the board is a standard 64-square chessboard with notation, while the inside is marked for playing backgammon (nardi), so one board serves two classic games.
