About This Piece
Small naval models like this were sold in Soviet shops as souvenirs and desk decorations, often bought as gifts for sailors, navy veterans and boys fascinated by the fleet. The retail price molded or stamped on the base was standard practice in the USSR and today serves as a clear sign of the item's origin.
Compact and already cased, this Soviet warship model fits easily on a shelf or desk and makes a good addition to a collection of Soviet navy memorabilia, maritime collectibles or made in USSR souvenirs.
