This Soviet Buratino doll is the large 55 cm (21.7 in) version of the Soviet counterpart to Pinocchio, made in the USSR in the 1970s-1980s. Buratino has his iconic long nose and wide molded smile, green sleep eyes with long black lashes and thick rooted blonde hair. It stands out as an unusually tall doll for a Soviet toy collection.

Condition
Good vintage condition for its age. The plastic is structurally sound with no deep cracks, and the molded details and face paint are well preserved. The sleep eyes open and close. The hair is complete and thick but needs a little combing and styling. The clothes are bright and presentable and the pom-poms are fluffy. Please examine all the photos for the exact condition.

Buratino comes from Aleksey Tolstoy's 1936 tale The Golden Key, a retelling of the Pinocchio story, and he became one of the best-loved characters of Soviet children's culture, especially after the 1975 film. - The item must be returned in the same condition you received it, with all parts, accessories and original packaging that came with it.
- Return shipping is paid by the buyer. Please use a tracked shipping service and pack the item carefully — vintage pieces are fragile, and I can't refund items damaged on the way back.
