From the seller's notes

This lot of 70 vintage Soviet postcards brings together original cards from the USSR, mostly from the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s. The themes range from New Year and winter scenes to space, folklore, children and flowers, so the set shows the varied artistic style of Soviet printed ephemera. About This Piece

Printed postcards were an everyday medium in the USSR, and New Year and holiday cards in particular were sent in large numbers every year. Postal-used examples add stamps, postmarks and handwritten notes that interest philatelists and historians, while the artwork suits framing, scrapbooking or decor. Buying a lot of 70 is a practical way to start a collection or to add a wide mix of themes to an existing one.
