About This Piece

LOMO, based in Leningrad, was the leading Soviet optics maker, and its 16mm cameras were aimed at serious amateur filmmakers in the 1960s. A spring-driven body needs no batteries to run, which is part of the appeal today for film shooters and cinema collectors. A kit this complete, with its case and accessories, is not always easy to find, and it makes a good display for anyone interested in Soviet cameras and Leningrad optics.
