This Soviet Army uniform is a parade set for a member of the Airborne Forces (VDV, ВДВ), dating from the 1970s to 1980s. The jacket has sky-blue shoulder boards with the letters «СА», light blue collar tabs with paratrooper emblems and a VDV sleeve chevron with two service stripes. Seven badges are pinned to the jacket, and a white parade belt with an aiguillette completes the set.

Condition
Excellent vintage condition. The uniform has no holes, stains or tears, and all of the badges have vibrant enamel with no defects. Please check the photos for the details of the jacket and badges.

The VDV were the Soviet Airborne Forces and are recognized by their light blue color on uniforms. Parade uniforms of this kind were worn with decorations and ceremonial accessories, and a set that still has its full badge array is more informative to collectors than a bare jacket.
