About this piece
Set of 6 vintage Soviet bakelite door handles, marbled Catalin-type rods in butterscotch, cherry and brown, 120 mm long. Ships worldwide from Ukraine.
From the seller's notes
These Soviet bakelite door handles are a set of six vintage marbled rods made of bakelite (Catalin-type early plastic), originally designed as door handles. They show a deep swirl or marble pattern in rich butterscotch, dark cherry and chocolate tones with intricate veining. Ideal for restoring mid-century furniture or as raw material for artisan crafts such as knife handles, beads, jewelry or pens.

About This Piece
Bakelite and Catalin were among the earliest plastics, prized for their warm colors and deep, glassy marbling that cannot be replicated by modern materials. Vintage stock like this is sought after by furniture restorers, knife makers, pen turners and jewelry artisans, as well as collectors of mid-century design. A set of six matching Soviet bakelite door handles offers plenty of material for a restoration or creative project, or makes a beautiful display of vintage plastic in its own right.
What's Included
