This Soviet coat of arms plaque is a heavy cast-metal version of the State Emblem of the USSR. It shows the hammer and sickle over the globe, framed by ears of wheat wrapped in ribbons and topped with a five-pointed star. It is likely to have been used on industrial equipment, railway transport or official building facades during the Soviet era. The item is not a modern reproduction but a vintage piece.

About This Piece
The wheat, ribbons, globe and star of the emblem were set out in Soviet law and appeared on documents, coins, buildings and equipment across the country. A solid piece of nearly 1.9 kg is a substantial wall display for collectors of Soviet artifacts, militaria and industrial design, and the original mounting holes make hanging simple. As the plaque is cast metal with two mounting holes, it can be hung on a wall in a home office, a garage or a collection room. It is also a fitting gift for someone interested in Soviet history.
