This Soviet enamel mug was produced in the USSR to commemorate the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow, the Games of the XXII Olympiad. White vitreous enamel on metal is decorated in vibrant red with the official Olympic emblem and a series of sports pictograms, including cycling, basketball and rowing, and finished with a black rim. It is a classic piece of Soviet industrial design and Olympic memorabilia.
