Item Details
- Type: Pin badge
- Title: Order of the October Revolution
- Motif: Cruiser Aurora
- Country of Manufacture: USSR
Condition
Used, vintage. No specific flaws are described in the source, so please review the photographs of the front and the back to judge the finish. The badge is presented as a collectible pin and not as a state order, and the photographs show it as it is. The size is that of a badge, so it is small and light.
About This Piece
The Order of the October Revolution was a real Soviet state decoration established in the 1967 jubilee period, and its design is associated with the cruiser Aurora. Small badges that use the same theme are common among collectors and are not the full award itself. This one is best appreciated as a revolution-themed pin that complements other Aurora and Lenin badges. The phrase Order of the October Revolution makes this pin interesting to people who study Soviet awards, even though a badge-sized piece is a different object from the state decoration itself. Photographs are the best guide to the exact finish and the fastening type.
