From the seller's notes
This Soviet porcelain vase is a small spherical bud vase with a deep cobalt-blue glaze that fades smoothly into a pure white base. Delicate botanical motifs of grasses and stems are hand painted in shimmering gold leaf across the front and sides. It is a charming piece for a single flower or as a decorative accent on a shelf.

About This Piece
The combination of cobalt blue and gold is a hallmark of decorative porcelain from Soviet factories, and many such pieces were given as gifts or displayed in glass-door cabinets. A compact vase like this fits easily into a modern shelf display alongside other Soviet ceramics. Its small scale makes it easy to display with other miniature Soviet porcelain pieces, and the stamp on the base can help with further research into the factory.
