This original Soviet safety poster, “Protruding Parts Are Dangerous”, was designed to warn factory workers about the hazards of rotating machinery, particularly lathes. The image shows a worker caught and spun around by a machine part, drawn in the slightly dark “black humor” style typical of Soviet safety graphics.

Condition
Authentic vintage paper poster, over 45 years old. The colors remain vibrant and rich. There may be tears and wear along the edges, as seen in the photos, and there are some natural creases from age and storage. The reverse is clean and blank. Please examine the photos to assess the edges and corners.
About This Piece
Soviet safety posters often used shock and dark humor to make a rule unforgettable, and this sheet is a vivid example: one loose sleeve or protruding bolt, and the machine takes over. Mashinostroenie published long series of such posters for machine-building plants, printed in large runs and hung directly beside the equipment.

How to return an item

- I will confirm the return and reply with instructions. Items sent back without contacting me first cannot be accepted.
- The item must be returned in the same condition you received it, with all parts, accessories and original packaging that came with it.
- Return shipping is paid by the buyer. Please use a tracked shipping service and pack the item carefully — vintage pieces are fragile, and I can't refund items damaged on the way back.
