About This Piece

The Tu-104 was the first Soviet jet passenger aircraft and went into Aeroflot service in the 1950s, becoming a symbol of Soviet aviation. Tin airliners like this one were made for children across the USSR, and today they are popular with collectors of Soviet tin toys, Aeroflot memorabilia and mid-century aviation toys. Its honest wear gives this plane plenty of authentic retro character on a display shelf.
