About This Piece

Slava, the name of the Moscow watch factory's brand, was well known across the USSR, and portable wind-up alarm clocks like this were everyday items for travel and the bedside table. This one keeps its as-found patina, which collectors of mechanical clocks often prefer to a refinished look. It is a simple, practical piece to use on a desk, or to add to a collection of Soviet clocks and watches.
