About This Piece

The State Emblem of the USSR was one of the most recognizable symbols of the Soviet era and appeared on buildings, documents and official interiors. The wheat, the globe and the sun rays were part of the design from its early years. A heavy cast plaque like this works as a strong display piece for a collection of Soviet memorabilia, and its weight and dark metal finish also suit industrial or loft-style interiors.
