This vintage USSR Komsomol badge is the Young Guard of the Five-Year Plan, 1st class, an award issued through the VLKSM youth organization. It is a small Soviet merit pin related to the work of the Young Communist League. It makes a good addition to a collection of Komsomol items.

Used, in vintage condition. Five photos show the front and back, so please check them for the enamel and the fastening. The pin is sold as a single item with no accessories.
About This Piece
The Komsomol was the All-Union Leninist Young Communist League, and it ran many campaigns that tied young people to the Five-Year Plans for industry. The Young Guard badge rewarded good results in those efforts. Collectors of Soviet youth and labor awards look for it, and the class marking helps to identify the issue. The first class marking suggests a graded system of recognition, with a higher level of award for the strongest achievements. - I will confirm the return and reply with instructions. Items sent back without contacting me first cannot be accepted.
- The item must be returned in the same condition you received it, with all parts, accessories and original packaging that came with it.
- Return shipping is paid by the buyer. Please use a tracked shipping service and pack the item carefully — vintage pieces are fragile, and I can't refund items damaged on the way back.
