From the seller's notes

This Soviet transistor radio is a VEF 214 portable receiver manufactured in August 1990 at the VEF factory in Riga, Latvia, then part of the USSR. It is fully working and comes in a stylish two-tone black and cream-yellow case, a more modern look for the late Soviet era. The VEF 214 is known for its high sensitivity, robust construction and full sound from its large built-in speaker.

Used, in very good vintage condition and fully functional: the radio receives stations on various bands, and all knobs, sliders and buttons are present and operate smoothly. The telescopic antenna is straight, intact and extends smoothly. There are no major cracks or deep scratches, and the dial glass is clean. The battery compartment is clean, although one spring shows a small amount of typical oxidation that does not affect contact. Please note that the radio is designed for 220V mains power. Soviet FM broadcasting used the OIRT standard (65.8–74 MHz), so modern FM stations may require a simple converter or tuning depending on your region. Please examine the photos to assess the exact condition.
