The Vesna 309-2 is a Soviet cassette recorder from the late USSR period, in its original orange and brown plastic casing with Cyrillic labeling. This soviet cassette recorder has been tested and does not turn on, so it is sold as-is for parts or repair only. It suits restoration hobbyists, collectors and anyone who needs a retro prop.

Condition
For parts or not working. The unit was tested and does not turn on or function. It shows clear signs of age and wear, including dust, scuffs, scratches on the plastic body and some discoloration and soiling around the knobs and buttons. The main plastic body is intact and the carrying handle works. All control knobs and push buttons are present, and the cassette compartment door opens. The battery compartment cover is present; the battery contacts show some corrosion but appear mostly intact. No power cord or accessories are included, only the unit as pictured.

Portable cassette recorders such as the Vesna were an everyday part of Soviet life, and their bold orange and brown colors and Cyrillic lettering make them recognizable at a glance. A non-working example can still be a good project for a restorer, a source of replacement parts for another Vesna 309-2, or a vintage prop for film or theater.

How to return an item

- I will confirm the return and reply with instructions. Items sent back without contacting me first cannot be accepted.
- The item must be returned in the same condition you received it, with all parts, accessories and original packaging that came with it.
- Return shipping is paid by the buyer. Please use a tracked shipping service and pack the item carefully — vintage pieces are fragile, and I can't refund items damaged on the way back.
