This vintage matchbox holder is a handmade case decorated with a decoupage pattern made entirely from original vintage cigar bands (labels). The case holds four individual matchboxes that slide out like drawers using small leather or fabric latches. The top surface is a colorful collage of embossed cigar labels.

Condition
Good vintage condition. The colors are brilliant and the gold embossing on the labels still shines. All four drawers slide smoothly, and natural signs of aging are present. Please view all the photos for a detailed look at the condition.
About This Piece
Cigar bands were collected and used for crafts for generations, and covering a box with them is a traditional way to turn small paper labels into a decorative object. This piece will appeal to tobacciana collectors and can also serve as a conversation piece for a home office, bar or smoking room. Each of the four drawers can hold a matchbox, so the case is practical as well as decorative. The cigar labels differ from brand to brand, giving the top of the case a varied, colorful look, and no two handmade pieces like this are exactly alike.

How to return an item
- Email me at vladimirchuprina1971@gmail.com or message me on WhatsApp (+380 50 258 5695) within 30 days of delivery. Please include your order number and the reason for the return.
- I will confirm the return and reply with instructions. Items sent back without contacting me first cannot be accepted.
- The item must be returned in the same condition you received it, with all parts, accessories and original packaging that came with it.
- Return shipping is paid by the buyer. Please use a tracked shipping service and pack the item carefully — vintage pieces are fragile, and I can't refund items damaged on the way back.
