From the seller's notes
The Zvezda-54 is a Soviet vacuum tube radio from the Soviet Union, and this example is in working order. Its rich reddish-brown body and star logo give it the mid-century look that tube radio collectors want. The internal mechanism, the display and even the interior light are functional, illuminating the frequency scale.

About This Piece
The star logo and the warm cabinet color make the Zvezda-54 a recognizable piece of Soviet home electronics, and a working set that lights up is a centerpiece for an audio or mid-century collection. Tube sets of this age should be handled with care and checked by a technician before regular use. Set owners often value the illuminated scale, since it shows the radio is alive. Some scratches are visible, which suggests honest use rather than restoration. A set like this is best displayed where it can be admired and, with care, listened to. Please do not expect a modern radio: it is a vacuum tube set from the Soviet era and it behaves like one, warming up before it plays.
