This Victorian glass jewelry box is an antique casket with an unusual triangular shape, made from thick beveled glass panels held in an ornate brass frame with decorative serrated edging. The top and side panels are etched with floral and leaf motifs, and the inside holds a deep burgundy tufted velvet cushion. It is described as late 19th or early 20th century in the Victorian / French Art Nouveau style.

About This Piece
Glass-and-brass caskets were made as dressing-table pieces for rings, pins and small keepsakes, and the clear panels let the contents show through. A triangular plan is far less common than the usual rectangular box, which gives this one a distinctive silhouette on a vanity or shelf. The cushion is well sized for rings and brooches, so it works as a display box as well as for storage. A second, similar box is sold separately in our collection.

- The item must be returned in the same condition you received it, with all parts, accessories and original packaging that came with it.
- Return shipping is paid by the buyer. Please use a tracked shipping service and pack the item carefully — vintage pieces are fragile, and I can't refund items damaged on the way back.
