The Smena Symbol is a classic Soviet 35mm camera produced by LOMO in Leningrad, and this example dates to 1981 based on its serial number. It has the T-43 triplet 40mm f/4 lens and export markings in both Cyrillic and Latin letters. It comes with its original black hard case and strap.

Condition
Used, in good mechanical working order. The lens is clean, with no signs of mold, heavy scratches or clouding. Cosmetically it is in excellent vintage condition with minimal signs of use, and the body has no cracks or deep scratches; see photos. The original case carries the LOMO logo and the strap is intact.
About This Piece
Compared with earlier Smena models, the Symbol has a combined shutter cocking and film advance lever, which makes it easier to use for quick street shots. The T-43 triplet lens is well known among lomography fans for its contrast and vintage look. With the case and strap, it makes a ready-to-use Soviet camera set. The case with the LOMO logo and its intact strap are part of the appeal, and both are shown in the photos.

How to return an item

- I will confirm the return and reply with instructions. Items sent back without contacting me first cannot be accepted.
- The item must be returned in the same condition you received it, with all parts, accessories and original packaging that came with it.
- Return shipping is paid by the buyer. Please use a tracked shipping service and pack the item carefully — vintage pieces are fragile, and I can't refund items damaged on the way back.
