From the seller's notes
This vintage Soviet billiard ball is ball No. 1 made in the USSR for Russian Pyramid, the traditional Russian billiards game. It is crafted from a dense composite (phenolic resin / bakelite-type material), measures 68 mm in diameter and weighs 362 grams, giving it a satisfying heft and a smooth, glossy finish. Over the decades it has developed a warm yellowish-cream patina.

About This Piece
Russian Pyramid is played on a table with narrow pockets and uses larger balls than American pool, which is why balls like this one measure 68 mm. A single numbered Soviet billiard ball makes an unusual collectible for billiards enthusiasts, a historical display piece, or a distinctive vintage accent for a game room, bar or office shelf. It is also a natural fit for collections of Soviet Union collectibles and Soviet sporting items.
