From the seller's notes

This Soviet billiard ball is a number 2 ball made in the USSR for Russian Pyramid, the Russian version of billiards. It is made of heavy phenolic resin (a vintage composition material) in a cream, aged-white color, and measures about 67–68 mm across. At 366 g it has the solid, weighty feel of mid-20th-century billiard equipment.

About This Piece

Russian Pyramid is played with larger balls than American pool, and the game was played with numbered balls like this one. A single ball does not make a set, but it is a handy item for collectors of vintage billiard equipment and Soviet sports memorabilia, and it looks good in a game room or on a shelf.
