This Soviet October badge was issued in 1987 for the 70th anniversary of the Great October Socialist Revolution, 1917-1987. The front shows the red flag with the Hammer and Sickle, the Aurora cruiser and the dates, with a red banner on the left reading "СЛАВА ОКТЯБРЮ!" (Glory to October!).

About This Piece
The cruiser Aurora is tied to the October Revolution of 1917 and appeared on many Soviet commemorative items, which makes this design a favorite with badge collectors. Pins from the 1987 jubilee are among the last large anniversary series issued before the Soviet Union ended. Collectors often pair a pin like this with other October Revolution anniversary issues, such as the 50th anniversary badge from 1967, to show how the same theme was reinterpreted over the decades. The red banner with the slogan on the left and the cruiser on the right keep the composition easy to read at a glance, and the aluminum and cold enamel construction keeps the badge light on a lapel or a display board.

- The item must be returned in the same condition you received it, with all parts, accessories and original packaging that came with it.
- Return shipping is paid by the buyer. Please use a tracked shipping service and pack the item carefully — vintage pieces are fragile, and I can't refund items damaged on the way back.
