This lot of Soviet pop vinyl records includes nine 12-inch LPs on the Melodiya label, featuring some of the best-known stars of the Soviet and early post-Soviet music scene: Sofia Rotaru, Philip Kirkorov, Igor Nikolaev, Vyacheslav Dobrynin and more. It spans 1980s and early 1990s pop, estrada and disco, and suits DJs, collectors of Eastern European pop culture and fans of vintage Melodiya pressings.

Condition
Used. Sleeves are Good to Very Good (G/VG), with some visible shelf wear, edge wear and light creases consistent with age. The vinyl is visually graded Very Good (VG); there may be light surface marks or dust, but no deep scratches, and most records look well preserved. The records have not been professionally cleaned or play-tested. Please see the photos for details.
About This Piece
The late 1980s and early 1990s were a turning point for Soviet pop, as stars like Rotaru and Dobrynin were joined by a new generation led by Kirkorov and Nikolaev. Melodiya LPs from this period document that transition, from classic estrada to glossy synth-pop. The lot also includes compilations such as the "Signal" series, popular with listeners at the time and with sample-hunting producers today.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
