About This Piece

The MiG-15 was one of the best-known Soviet jet fighters of the early Cold War, and models of MiG aircraft were a popular subject for toy makers in the USSR. A heavy metal toy like this one has a very different feel from the lighter plastic planes made later. It is a good fit for collectors of vintage Soviet toys, Cold War aviation memorabilia and metal model aircraft.
