About this piece

UPA-510 Soviet photo enlarger, a portable 35mm darkroom kit in its original case with glossy photo dryer and manual, sold as-is. Ships worldwide.

From the seller's notes

The UPA-510 is a portable Soviet photo enlarger for 35mm film, and this full set folds into its original hard-shell carrying case, which also serves as the baseboard for printing. The kit includes the vertical column, lamp house, negative carrier, easel and original Russian-language manual, plus a vintage Soviet electric photo dryer for glossy prints. It is a complete piece of traditional darkroom equipment for collectors and film photographers.

Condition

Used, in very good vintage cosmetic condition. All mechanical parts move smoothly and the electrical cords are present. Because of its age, the kit is sold as-is for collection, decor or professional restoration. The unit runs on 220V, so buyers in North America would need a suitable transformer. The case that doubles as a baseboard is a clever piece of design, and the added glossy dryer shows the full workflow of printing from 35mm negatives.
