About This Piece
Aurora is remembered in Soviet history for her role in the events of 1917, and the ship became a standard emblem on anniversary items. A 1967 Aurora pin pairs well with the 1987 version of the same subject, and the two together show how the imagery was carried through the decades of Soviet commemorations.
No details on materials or size were provided, so the photos should be checked for the finish, the lettering and the reverse. The date range printed on the badge is a plus for anyone organizing a collection by year, and the Aurora theme links it directly to the 1917 story that the jubilee was celebrating.
Grouped with the other Aurora badges in the shop, it helps tell the visual story of how the cruiser was used across successive anniversaries.
