About This Piece
The Soviet Union was made up of republics, and each had its own anniversaries, flags and badges. A Moldavian SSR pin is a handy item for collectors who sort their Soviet badges by republic and want something outside the better-known Russian and Ukrainian issues. The red enamel field and the coat of arms make the design easy to read at a glance. The description mentions the anniversary but gives no exact year, so no date is stated here. It is small enough to be added to any display of republic anniversary pins. Please look at the five photos to judge the size, the sharpness of the emblem and the type of fastening, since the description gives only the design and the technique. Both the front and the back pictures are worth studying before you decide.
