From the seller's notes
This vintage brass lighter is a rectangular gas lighter with a deeply engraved, raised Coat of Arms of Ukraine, the trident, on the front. Beneath the emblem the word УКРАЇНА (Ukraine) is inscribed in Cyrillic. It is a collectible piece for lovers of vintage lighters and Ukrainian memorabilia, and it has been tested and works.

About This Piece
Brass table and pocket lighters with national emblems have a following among collectors of tobacciana and patriotic items. The trident is the coat of arms of Ukraine, and the Cyrillic inscription makes this lighter a distinct piece for anyone interested in Ukrainian memorabilia or in lighters that still work. A working lighter is a pleasant surprise among collectibles, since many old ones sit on a shelf. Here the torch-style flame and the piezo ignition mean it can be used again once it is filled. The rectangular shape and the raised emblem also give it a pleasing weight and a clear front for display in a cabinet.
